The title of General Manager encompasses many positions, ranging from Human Resources to IT, from heading up our Quarterly Safety Meetings to creating safer and more profitable work processes throughout the organization. My knowledge of team leadership and field operations makes me a key component at Turtle. A born Hoosier, I started out as a farm hand, detasseling corn in the fields of Indiana. In 1986, I moved to Florida where I worked alongside my father at a commercial construction company.
I will always remember the day in March of ‘96’ when I saw that first Turtle machine chewing up the road. I thought to myself, wow that looks like fun. Three weeks later I was chewing up SR-528 in Orlando with an RX-50, I was right it is fun. Around the office I’m known as TAG. I received this nickname within the first week, after logging tools out of the parts department using my initials. I guess it could’ve been worse. Working my way up through the ranks was an exciting, but challenging part of my career. I have many hobbies but most of them relate to either Music or Computers. Above all, I cherish every moment I spend with Daughter Leah, who is my world.
